Several other products are available to work with MainPlan and
details are provided below.
JobRequest
JobRequest is a simple front end to enable users to
enter work requests into MainPlan without actually running the full
MainPlan system. Click here for
further information.
Barcodes
(available for MainPlan Gold
only)
There are two parts to the barcode scanning module, Spare
Parts using a hand held walkabout scanner and Work
Order closeout using a scanner attached to the PC via a
USB or keyboard interface.
Spare Parts
The barcode module in MainPlan has the following
options:
 | Print Barcodes for active users. Used to print out barcodes for
people allowed to book out spares (active users) |
| Print Barcodes for spare parts. Used to print the labels that
are stuck onto the spare parts bins. |
| Print Barcodes for plant items. Used to print labels for
Assets. |
| Print Barcodes for Work Orders. Used to print barcodes for items
in backlog. Barcodes are also automatically printed on each work
order.

Work Order closeout
Barcode scanning of Work Orders makes this task many
times faster and should appeal to any site that is making reasonable
use of MainPlan. When the work order barcode is scanned the
following occurs:
| When the scanner trigger is operated the barcode is used to find
the work order in backlog and the Add Work Completed screen is
opened with the record entered and the complete status set to (C)omplete. |
| The user may immediately enter close-out information or continue
scanning work orders and then add the information later by selecting
records on the Add Work Completed screen. |
Timesheets
(available for MainPlan Gold
only)
The timesheet module is a specialised reporting instrument that
extracts information from the history and labour data tables and
uses this information to produce timesheets for selected employees
or contractors.
Graphical
Management Reporter
(available for MainPlan Gold
only)
The Graphical Management Reporter is designed to provide ready access for
management to maintenance statistics and to provide the information
in a graphical form. Some
